Tom Gates is Absolutely Fantastic (at some things), by Liz Pichon

*****

This book is amazing. It is one of the best books in the series. I have this book myself and I find that all the adventures/jokes he has on the school activity trip are amazing. You have to agree with the author. Tom Gates is Absolutely Fantastic.

Maggot Moon, by Sally Gardner

*****

Maggot Moon is set in the 1950s. It's about a boy called Standish Tredwell who lives in Zone Seven. His town is a dull place. His life is pretty upsetting with people close to him going missing. And with an organisation known as the Green Flies watching him his life is in danger.

Ben Evans, Year 7
